  Arapaho Gold defends his unbeaten record here, and there is every chance of him bringing up the 4-timer. Two wins at Thirsk in May and then in early July were added to by a neck win in a Listed race at Newbury later that month. The runner-up there has won since, and the third was runner-up in a French Group 3. With more improvement likely, he can continue his winning run in this Group 2.

  Two-year-old Pershaada's weight-for-age allowance is just too big to ignore here. She gets at least 22 lbs, and for an experienced filly with 2 wins and 3 placed finishes in 5 starts, she looks sure to go well. Both wins have come at Goodwood, where last time she won the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes by 2 lengths. This is a big step up in class, but it would be no surprise if she were to at least grab a place with four on offer.

  Andyourbirdcansing is third reserve, but if she gets a run she looks very interesting here. She has won two of her 34 starts, the last coming at Sligo last month over 2m 5f off a mark of 84. Well beaten back there earlier this month, it was probably the drop back to 2m 2f rather than the 7 lb rise that beat her. Up a furlong here, she can go well again and looks a good each-way bet with five places on offer.
