The race in 2017 was a race that was most in the bookie's favour with an over-round of 123%, whilst on average over the last 19 renewals of the Champions Juvenile Stakes, the over-round has been 114%, which means the bookie expects to pay out £100 for every £114 which is bet.

These are the top three quickest-run Champions Juvenile Stakes races over the last 19 renewals:

  1. Zoffany (1:27.89) in 2010
  2. Tenth Star (1:27.96) in 2011
  3. Perfect Symmetry (1:28.39) in 2009

Backing all 18 runners who have been out since their win at SP next time out would have returned an LSP of -12.17. Ahead of the 2026 Champions Juvenile Stakes, why not head over to the racing predictions for tips on other races today?

Over the last 19 renewals, it was Zoffany, trained by A P O'Brien and ridden by Seamie Heffernan, who set the fastest winning time in the Champions Juvenile Stakes. That runner won the race in a time of 1:27.89 in 2010. At the other end of the scale, it was the combination of trainer A P O'Brien and jockey Donnacha O'Brien with Nelson who set the slowest winning time; the race-winning time was 1:47.35 in the 2017 renewal.

What the expert says...
Only one of the twelve winners of this race between 2013-24 went on to win next time out; that was Auguste Rodin in 2022, who went on to win the Futurity Trophy at Doncaster.
