Chris McCausland is now just 1/4 to win Strictly Come Dancing

Comedian Chris McCausland has shortened even further to win Strictly Come Dancing this series after a massive week in Blackpool saw him awarded two 10s by the judges.

UK betting sites have offered odds on Strictly ever since the series got underway and McCausland has been favourite in the odds list for a long time now.

His odds though have now shortened down to their furthest yet with bookmakers now putting him at 1/4 in the betting market after a stunning performance on the famous Blackpool ballroom.

The current betting market offered by Bet365 now suggests an 80% implied probability that McCausland is crowned King of the Ballroom and Strictly Champion at the end of the series.

Sarah Hadland also impressed on the show this week but she's now out to 4/1 to win the show with her odds weakening in the latest market.

Wynne Evans was latest celebrity eliminated from Strictly

Sunday night saw Opera singer and BBC Radio Wales presenter Wynne Evans become the latest celebrity eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing.

The dreaded dance-off this weekend saw Wynne and his partner Katya Jones come up against Montell Douglas and her partner Johannes Radebe with the judges all deciding to save Montell.

Wynne was favourite to go with the bookies on Friday night heading into the weekend and those odds were proven to be right on Sunday's results show.

Pete Wicks tops betting odds to be the next celebrity to go

Pete Wicks is now the favourite in the betting market to be the next celebrity eliminated after he finished bottom of the judges leaderboard with just 27 points.

Craig Revel Horwood scored Pete's latest dance just a 4 out of 10 with his Cha-cha-cha to Right Said Fred's I'm Too Sexy seeing him struggle this week.

The British public though overwhelmingly backed him in the votes to see him finish outside of the dance-off despite him being bottom of the table.

Now though he is the evens favourite to be the next celebrity to be evicted on Strictly with the odds suggesting a 50% chance that he goes.
