Balvinder Sopal Favourite for Elimination Ahead of Blackpool Week

As Strictly Come Dancing heads into the iconic Blackpool Week, all eyes are on Balvinder Sopal, who is now the overwhelming favourite with UK Betting Sites to be the next celebrity eliminated.

After surviving her fourth dance-off last weekend the odds from Ladbrokes suggest her time may be up.

Balvinder saw off Vicky Pattison to book her place in Blackpool, but with La Voix ruled out of the weekend’s show due to injury, the remaining contestants face increased pressure to deliver standout performances in the Tower Ballroom.

The latest odds put Sopal well clear of the rest of the field in the dreaded elimination market with an 80% implied probability that she'll leave this weekend.

Strictly Come Dancing Winner Odds

YouTuber George Clarke has been the odds-on favourite to win this year's Strictly for a number of weeks now and he remains there this weekend.

Clarke's popularity with his big fanbase has kept his position at the top of the winner market despite his technique not being one of the best.

The latest betting odds give him an implied probability of 52.4% that he will be crowned Strictly winner.

Expert Insight

What the expert says...
Balvinder Sopal’s story has been one of resilience, but bookies aren’t expecting a miracle in Blackpool. After four consecutive dance-offs, her 1/4 odds make her the standout favourite to go next especially with La Voix’s injury changing the dynamics for the weekend.
