  • George Clarke 13/8 favourite with William Hill after scoring 30 for Paso Doble
  • Vicky Pattison and Lewis Cope follow at 4/1 and 9/2 respectively
  • Tom Skinner first celebrity eliminated after judges save Chris and Nadiya

George Clarke continues to lead the way in the Strictly Come Dancing betting markets after another high-scoring performance over the weekend.

The YouTuber dazzled the judges with a Paso Doble worth 30 points, further cementing his position as the one to beat in the 2025 series.

Bookmakers have reacted by cutting Clarke’s odds from 5/2 to 13/8, making him the strongest favourite of the series so far.

William Hill's latest market gives the Influencer as 38.1% chance of winning the famous Glitterball trophy this year.

Following behind him in the odds list are former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison and actor Lewis Cope.

Clarke Extends His Lead

Clarke’s Paso Doble performance has earned widespread praise from both the panel and viewers, continuing his momentum from Week 1.

The latest betting shift now places him comfortably ahead of his nearest rivals, Vicky Pattison (4/1) and Lewis Cope (9/2), both of whom remain in strong contention.

Former Lioness Karen Carney (11/2) and Love Island star Amber Davies (7/1) round out the top five in what is quickly shaping up to be one of the most competitive Strictly seasons in recent years.

What the expert says...
George Clarke has quickly built a commanding position and he’s not just leading the market but improving week on week. If he maintains this consistency, it’ll take a big upset to stop him lifting the Glitterball trophy.

First Elimination: Tom Skinner Bows Out

Tom Skinner became the first celebrity to be eliminated from the series after a tough opening fortnight.

Despite his enthusiasm, the entrepreneur’s 13-point score left him bottom of the leaderboard and the judges unanimously voted to save Chris and Nadiya in the show’s first dance-off.

Skinner’s exit, combined with Clarke’s continued dominance, has added fresh clarity to the early winner betting market.

As Week 3 approaches, all eyes will be on whether Clarke can maintain his near-perfect start.

With his odds shortening again, bookmakers clearly believe he’s on course to become one of the most dominant favourites in recent Strictly history.
