Chris McCausland is now 1/5 to win this year's Strictly with odds continued to be offered
Long-time Strictly Come Dancing favourite Chris McCausland has now shortened even further into just 1/5 with UK betting sites to be crowned winner after another strong week on the show saw the comedian sail through to the Semi-Final.
McCausland has been favourite ever since the opening fortnight of the show after originally starting the series as a 16/1 outsider with the bookies.
Week-by-week we've seen no real contender to Chris in the winner market with the Comedian sitting at the top of the odds as each episode has gone by.
Chris and his partner Dianne Buswell were scored 32 points by the judges at the weekend which saw him joint second-bottom of the leaderboard but they were put through by viewers.
Bet365's latest market on Strictly now has McCausland at 1/5 to win the show with Sarah Hadland following behind as second favourite in the odds.

Tasha Ghouri drifts right out in market after shock dance-off appearance
Former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri now sits out at 12/1 to win Strictly after a shock appearance in the dreaded dance-off at the weekend.
Tasha has been the best dancer throughout the series in terms of scoring and her Argentine Tango was awarded a total of 38 by the judges on Saturday night.
That score saw Tasha joint second alongside Sarah Hadland in the leaderboard and ultimately it wasn't high enough with the public putting her in the dance-off with Montell Douglas.
All four judges put through Tasha and her professional partner Aljaž with the pair heading into semi-final week.

Bookies though once again put him as the odds-on favourite to leave the show after he finished bottom of the judges leaderboard once again.
The latest betting market gives an implied probability of 66.7% that Pete leaves the show this week with JLS star JB Gill second favourite in the odds list.
