There has been a huge move in the betting markets on which actor could replace Daniel Craig in the role of James Bond in the movie franchise. Step forward none other than Irish Actor Aidan Turner, best known for his role as Poldark in the TV series.

Whilst Aidan has not really figured in the rumours in the Next James Bond betting, hovering around the odds of 20/1, there has suddenly been a tidal wave of support and his odds have crashed into 5/1 with some betting sites where he now joins the likes of long time favourites Tom Hardy and Rege Jean Page

He's best known for his performance as Ross Poldark in the BBC adaptation of The Poldark novels by Winston Graham which aired from 2015-2019; Dante Gabriel Rossetti/Desperate Romantics (2018); John Mitchell in Being Human 2009 – 2013.
