Taylor-Johnson Reclaims Favourite Status in 007 Market
After months of odds drifting and fresh contenders rising with bookmakers, Aaron Taylor-Johnson has officially returned to the top of the next James Bond betting market at 1/1 (evens).
This marks a resurgence in his candidacy after a quiet spell, with bookies once again backing the Kick-Ass and Bullet Train star to step into the tuxedo.
The move comes just days after Taylor-Johnson signed a high-profile ambassador deal with Omega, the luxury watchmaker that has been synonymous with Bond ever since Pierce Brosnan wore one in 1995’s GoldenEye.
William Hill's latest market now gives an implied probability of 50% that Taylor-Johnson will play Bond next with the actor back into favourite once again.

Omega Connection Fuels Speculation
While brand deals aren’t always a direct confirmation of casting, Bond fans and punters alike have noted the timing of Taylor-Johnson's Omega announcement as potentially significant.
The alignment with Bond’s official timepiece supplier has prompted bookmakers to slash odds and industry whispers suggest this could be more than just a fashion deal.
Back in 2022, Taylor-Johnson was reported to have completed a screen test at Pinewood Studios for Barbara Broccoli and the Bond production team, which initially made him a strong early market favourite.
