Tasha Ghouri's odds to win Strictly have shortened after perfect 40 scored on Saturday night

Former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has now shortened back into second favourite to win this year's Strictly Come Dancing after scoring a perfect 40 on Saturday night's show.

Tasha had previously been top of the Strictly leaderboard six times and been one point away from the perfect score on three occasions and this weekend finally saw her given a 10 by Craig Revel Horwood for a 40.

Betting odds had previously seen her drift out to third favourite to win the show in recent weeks following strong performances from Sarah Hadland but Ghouri has shortened once again this series with UK betting sites.

William Hill's latest betting market puts Tasha at 9/2 to win the show with those odds giving an implied probability of 18.2% that she lifts the famous glitterball trophy at the end of the series.

Chris McCausland remains clear favourite to win the show

Comedian Chris McCausland is still the clear favourite to win this year's Strictly after another incredible performance at the weekend with a Paso Doble.

McCausland, Strictly's first blind contestant, has impressed viewers and judges week after week with a series of amazing performances and his odds have continued to tumble.

The latest market has him as the 2/7 favourite to win the show and it looks hard to see anyone really pushing him the odds to win in the remaining weeks of the series.

Pete Wicks once again odds-on favourite to leave Strictly this weekend

Bookmakers have once again placed Pete Wicks as the odds-on favourite to leave Strictly this weekend despite him still not appearing in the dance-off on the show.

Another week of Strictly is on the week with Wicks topping the market to leave but his popularity has helped him from a dreaded dance-off appearance so far.

The market now has Wicks as the 4/6 favourite to leave the show with a 60% implied probability given that he will leave next.
