Shayne Ward is odds-on to leave Strictly Come Dancing this weekend

Strictly Come Dancing returns for Week 8 this weekend and UK Betting Sites are now offering odds on who will leave the show ahead of a competitive looking weekend of dancing.

Former X Factor winner Shayne Ward is now the odds-on favourite to be the next celebrity eliminated with the betting odds suggesting he is the firm favourite to leave the show.

Ward sits at 10/11 in the latest betting market with Bet365 with Wynne Evans following behind him as second favourite at odds of 9/4.

Those latest odds give an implied probability of 52.4% that it'll be Ward who is the latest celebrity to leave and he has a Rumba to Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper which will be a tricky dance to get right.

Despite appearing in the dreaded dance-off last weekend, Montell Douglas is all the way out to 5th favourite at 14/1 to leave this weekend with back-to-back dance-off's always on the cards.

What the expert says...
Shayne Ward is once again the odds-on favourite to leave Strictly Come Dancing as we enter Week 8 of the popular show with bookmakers suggesting the former X Factor winner will be the one to leave this week. Ward has appeared in the bottom two previously and will be hoping to avoid the dreaded dance-off this week, but it looks unlikely according to the odds.

Sarah Hadland has been big market mover to win Strictly

Betting odds are also still available with bookmakers shortening actress Sarah Hadland into just 5/2 to be crowned winner at the end of the series.

Comedian Chris McCausland remains the odds-on favourite to win in the latest betting market but his odds have been drifting week-by-week after his scores have been getting lower from the judges.

Hadland has continued to impress both with the judges and viewers though and she is now given a 26.7% chance of lifting the famous Glitterball trophy this year.

Bookmakers are still giving various betting sign up offers for these entertainment markets as we get closer and closer to the final in December.
