Giovanni Pernice is the 8/1 favourite to be the winning professional on this year's Strictly

Betting is already available for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing with bookies giving odds on who will be the winning professional on this year's series.

Giovanni Pernice is the early betting favourite at 8/1 to win the show after a disappointing 14th place finish last season with his partner Richie Anderson.

Pernice won Strictly back in 2021 with partner Rose Ayling-Ellis and Betway have him as the favourite to win this year's series with an 11% chance of doing so according to the odds.

Love Island winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan have odds to appear on Strictly

Winter Love Island winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan feature in another betting market to be on the next series of Strictly with their popularity sky high after the show finished.

Their odds are to feature on the show are big though with William Hill making Fagan 14/1 and Harrinanan 25/1 to be a contestant on the 2023 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

As of yet there have been no Love Island stars who have been on Strictly Come Dancing but 2023 could be the year that all changes.

Strictly bosses try and stay clear of Reality stars appearing on the show as they tend to stick to more traditional areas of celebrity from sport stars to TV presenters.

Jill Scott is as short as 6/4 to be on Strictly Come Dancing this year

Former Lionesses player and I'm A Celebrity winner Jill Scott is as short as 6/4 to be a contestant on this year's series of Strictly.

Scott was announced as the captain of England in the latest Soccer Aid match taking place this June and odds are available on a whole host of career paths for Scott.

Bookmakers say there's a 40% chance that she appears in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing after winning I'm A Celebrity at the back end of 2022.

Scott may well want to do the Reality double by winning Strictly as well as I'm A Celeb and she's a short price to do so according to Betway.

Further odds for Scott's future include 5/1 that she is the host of Match of the Day at some point this year.
