  • Boxer Tyson Fury is a 12/1 shot to appear on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, set to headline the BBC's Autumn/Winter schedule
  • Peter Crouch still joint favourite with bookies to head to the ballroom
  • Piers Morgan features in the market as a 16/1 outsider to be on this year's Strictly

Boxer Tyson Fury has a massive title defence against Dillian Whyte at Wembley this month, but there has been eyes on him appearing on Strictly in the 2022 series later this year.

Fury is 12/1 with bookmakers to appear on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, with just a 7.7% implied probability that he swaps the boxing ring for the ballroom.

Former Boxers Anthony Crolla and Ricky Hatton also feature in the betting market to appear on Strictly, with their fast feet usually transitioning over to the ballroom well.

Celebrity to appear Odds Probability
Peter Crouch 4/1 20%
Maya Jama 4/1 20%
Sarah Storey 4/1 20%
Anthony Crolla 5/1 16.7%
Jade Thirlwall 7/1 12.5%
Ricky Hatton 8/1 11.1%
Tyson Fury 12/1 7.7%
Piers Morgan 16/1 5.9%

Rumours have suggested that Ricky Hatton will return to the Boxing ring at some point this year in an exhibition bout, so he may not quite have time for Strictly this year.

Hatton previously appeared on the BBC in Let's Dance For Comic Relief back in 2013, so his previous experience on a dance show may go in his favour.

Tyson Fury is 12/1 to appear in this year's Strictly Come Dancing series, with the Heavyweight champion set to defend his belt against Dillian Whyte this month.

Peter Crouch remains one of the favourites to appear

Peter Crouch has been a big hit in his post-football career, with one of the biggest podcasts in the UK as well as two best selling books.

Bookies give 4/1 odds that Crouch adds a spell on the Strictly ballroom as part of his life after football.

Crouch is joint favourite in the market alongside Maya Jama and Dame Sarah Storey.

Jama has appeared alongside Crouch in presenting roles, with his Save Our Summer and Year-Late Euro shows having Jama next to him presenting.

Sarah Storey is a huge Paralympic athlete and Strictly pride themselves on being an inclusive show, with deaf actress Rose Ayling-Ellis winning last year's series.

Piers Morgan 16/1 to be on the show

Piers Morgan normally appears in the Reality Show betting markets as the broadcaster is always linked with these types of shows.

As he is an opinionated figure, he'll automatically drive up television ratings with his appearances on shows like Strictly Come Dancing.

At odds of 16/1, bookmakers give just a 5.9% chance that Morgan will be on the 2022 series of the Dancing show, but stranger things have happened.

Morgan has previously had a public bust up with the massive girlband Little Mix and member Jade Thirlwall is 7/1 to be on the show this year.

With Little Mix confirming that they will have a break after their tour in May, Thirlwall will be looking at other 'solo projects' to go forward with with reports she'll release solo music this year.

Piers Morgan is 16/1 to appear on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, with the opinionated broadcaster regularly appearing in these markets.
