How competitive is the Dubai World Cup market? When looking at the over-rounds for the last 20 renewals, the most competitive market was in 2015, when the race had an over-round of 115%. The race in 2012 was a race that was most in the bookie's favour with an over-round of 128%, whilst on average over the last 20 renewals of the Dubai World Cup, the over-round has been 122%, which means the bookie expects to pay out ÂŁ100 for every ÂŁ122 which is bet.

Below you will find the 2027 Dubai World Cup Trends. See which patterns have occurred over the recent renewals that you may be able to use for the next renewal. We also have a section that looks at the Dubai World Cup Trend Analysis.

These are the top three quickest-run Dubai World Cup races over the last 20 renewals:

  1. Invasor (1:59.97) in 2007
  2. Well Armed (2:01.01) in 2009
  3. Curlin (2:01.15) in 2008

Looking at the future form, is the winner worth following next time out? Over the past 20 renewals, if you had followed the winner of the Dubai World Cup next time out, then you would have backed a total of 3 winners. Backing all 17 runners who have been out since their win at SP next time out would have returned an LSP of -12.80. Whilst we wait for the 2027 Dubai World Cup, remember you can get daily racing predictions from the expert tipsters on the racing predictions page.

Over the last 20 renewals, it was Invasor, trained by Kiaran McLaughlin and ridden by Fernando Jara, who set the fastest winning time in the Dubai World Cup. That runner won the race in a time of 1:59.97 in 2007. At the other end of the scale, it was the combination of trainer Katsuhiko Sumii and jockey Mirco Demuro with Victoire Pisa who set the slowest winning time; the race-winning time was 2:05.94 in the 2011 renewal.

What the expert says...
The 2006, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2018 & 2019 winners of this race all came having run in the Al Maktoum Challenge, 6 of the last 12 winners of this race ran at Meydan last time out, including the 2024 winner, who ran in the Burj Nahaar.
