By-election betting increases in popularity month-by-month

By-Elections happen between General Elections when a seat becomes vacant when the current MP resigns or has to leave their position for another matter, as seen in this example in Chester.

The reasons By-Elections take place could be for any of the following reasons:

  • Death
  • Resignation
  • Bankruptcy
  • Moves to the House Of Lords
  • Convicted of a criminal offence

Betting on By-Elections has increased in popularity with punters liking that they can see various polls to guide them to who to put their money on.
