CHARGING THUNDER would definitely have a chance if he could rediscover some of his 2022 form on turf, but he is now on a similar mark to when he won three of his four races that year, albeit, the ground was much better then compared to the soft ground he's been running on this year, but that is by no means a negative, not in this grade anyhow.

I think the filly KATHMANDU ran a great race when winning at Southwell 7fs and she travels like a top of the ground horse, so I think she represents good value. Others obviously have bigger reputations, and a good few of them are a bit quirky, but there's no nonsense about this filly when she's in full stride.

I believe Sahith Theegala will be pumped and raring to get in amongst it on day one of the Masters. I think he will be aiming high again like last year; he's not won any of the nine big tournaments, but he has finished in the top five on two occasions, and had four top ten finishes. He fits the profile of a golfer on an upward curve, and he will be lifting a big one, sooner rather than later.

The grey MASTERCLASS is back in calmer waters after a decent outing over C&D a level up, and he's getting the hang of it at Lingfield, and I think the penny will drop for him at some point, more likely over six furlongs than the minimum trip; can definitely get competitive in this grade going six on the AW.
