  Likely favourite Redorange comes here in top form, but his best form has been on flat or easy tracks, so the stiff finish here is a worry. In addition, this is a stiffer task than a Class 2 handicap at Windsor. The one to take the eye is the Clover-trained Rogue Lightning, who is the first runner at this track. He should come on for his last run, which came off an 85-day break. He has good form in Group 1 and Group 2 events, so with the fast ground to suit, he should go close and looks a solid each-way bet.

He is sure to come on for the run, and his action shows he is well suited by a sound surface. At around 7/2, he rates as the value bet and is the Nap of the day.

  Believeitanducan showed much better form last time to score at Ascot and is only 4 lb higher here. Crucially, he is happy on soft ground, which he is likely to get there despite the official going of good; the going stick suggests it will be a good deal softer. The stable have a fair record here (3-12), and Billy Loughnane is riding at the top of his game at the moment. At around 8/11, he should take a deal of beating.
