But interestingly, was second here to Keke when last here in June, with the winner that day taking on a lot of weight. My pick has a chance to swap positions today off a 91 if getting on with the going.

Carla Ridge, since the break, has been close with two G3 runs to third and a close listed second. Although coming in well heavy, that last G3 third was to Sky Majesty and could still put her in with a chance EW 6P.

Daany tends to do all his winning over hurdles. While not great in handicap on the flat, he can get on with the going. With his hurdling success, he should have the stamina for this step up to 1m2f. Although down the pack on the return last month, that was after a year off. I expect more today, now second up after wind surgery. EW 4P.

God Of War opened this term in May with a close C2 second on good ground, and the latest run last month was a C3 win on soft ground. Although up 3 lbs for that, he could be worth another go in C2 but on soft ground while sticking to 7f, the trip for both of those successful runs.

Oliver Show was second here in March off a 95. He did start to show some improvement after a short break last month when second up after wind surgery. Now, second up after a break, I'm looking for more off a 96 with Billy back in the saddle.

Art Power was not my first choice because he tends to do most of his running at 6f and 7f. But way back when, he did win a G2 at 5f and has had a return run last month. He tends to improve when second or third up. EW 4P.

Leinster did well last month on his first try in a G3 to win by over four lengths. Today's card has only a couple that have any G1 experience, and none of them is a G1 winner. So, worth a chance at being involved EW.

Illinois gets my vote just because his last three group wins have all been around this trip. He comes into today after two G1 runs at 2 miles+ and the return to 1m6f could suit.

Moonstone Boy did win a C4 back in May off an 81. Although at the back of the pack for the last three runs, that was in C2. The drop to C3 while back on that last winning mark could be enough to get back in the game. EW 5P.

Red Letter has shown improvement with a listed win in July, followed by a G3 win in August. I like getting Colin Keane back in the saddle for this G2, which could end well.

Fantasy Master won this last year off a 72 and won again in November when he dropped back to that winning mark in C4. He has only now dropped to that last winning mark and could be ready to strike again. EW 5P.

Rhythm King could be worth a shot as he is slightly out of handicap but did win here last November off today's 78. He has been running on well, which makes me think that he could be ready for 1m2f with Keithen Kennedy in the saddle, claiming 5 lbs EW 6P.
