7:15 Galway Tips

Dancing Saxon has to give plenty of weight away carrying top weight of ten stone but her mark of 80 is due to go up as following two wins she was a decent 2nd beaten half a length in a Listed race at Naas last time out.

Nazario looks to have strong claims in the 7.15 at Galway. He shaped with plenty of promise on his latest start and remains open to further improvement. With conditions expected to suit and a stamina test likely to play to his strengths, he looks capable of taking another step forward and could prove the one to beat.

Girl Bear did well in May when third on handicap debut off a 72 at 7f. Although not so good last time out when dropped to 6f, I think the return to 7f with W. J. Lee off a 70 deserves an EW 4P.

The short-price favourite is leading to a bit of each-way value in this race. There's two I like who are closely matched on earlier season form at Roscommon. Girl Bear is well drawn to go forward whilst Coincidental Glory is slightly better treated at the weights. Both are worth an each-way bet or in a multiple at current odds but the selection is my very slight preference today.

EXPERT DANCER has won a race at 7f a winner on his latest outing over 7f at Limerick last month course distance and going should suit seems well treated and could well be able to go in again and win this race

Unfamiliar was a winner last time at Limerick and has got a decent draw in this race. She runs from out of the handicap here, but though not ideal, she is in form and could run into a place.

The odds of 25/1 make her a compelling each-way option, particularly given her manageable weight and the 3lb allowance from jockey Wesley Joyce, which provides a significant competitive advantage.
