Imperial Me Cen was impressive in winning a Listed two-year-old race at Vichy last time. He had a poor start and switched around the back of the field from being drawn on the rail to the middle of the course. In the last 2f, he made his way through the whole field to win going away. He should give the speedy Karl Burke filly a race in the final furlong.

Although Gezora was well beaten by new stablemate Mandanaba first time out this season in a Group 3, she showed improved form to comfortably win a Group 2 over ten furlongs at Longchamp, where Christophe Soumillon rode her odds-on stablemate Audibon Park in 2nd place. He switches to Gezora here, and both the distance and soft going will be to her advantage. She is drawn well in stall 1.

Poppadom is a 22-race maiden but has dropped to his lowest ever mark of 45. His better form has been on the soft side of good, and there may be sufficient showers at Gowran before racing to make conditions soft enough for Poppadom to perform to his best. His ten-pound claiming jockey has also yet to win a race in 51 rides, but today might be the day.

Big Fun ran on well to claim 2nd place at Pontefract first time out and that experience should be used to good effect against three potentially good newcomers at Hamilton.

Glorious Kitty has been inconsistent but rallied well over 5f at Epsom to be two lengths 6th of 16 in a Class 3 handicap last weekend and could go well drawn against the stands side over six furlongs.

Quamby showed huge improvement first time out this season to run a close 2nd at Wetherby and the winner has since won at Listed level so should win with Jamie Spencer riding her again.

Candleford Green was denied a clear run last time, a furlong out, when a beaten favourite in 6th place, less than a length behind Angelight in 4th over a mile at Naas. The extra distance should be in her favour.

Crimson Spirit ran well to finish 3rd at York a fortnight ago and should get his first win here at Salisbury over seven furlongs.

Fleur De Chine was poor first time out this season in a Group 3 at the Curragh when only 8th of 9 but she won over course and distance here last June and the softer going should help her.
