Other than a rare off day at the Curragh in April, this horse has been running consistently well without winning since October 2024. This previous course-and-distance winner is becoming well-handicapped and should be involved at the finish.

At current odds I'll take a chance on this horse. The last couple of seasons he's needed at least a couple of runs to get up to speed, so I'm prepared to overlook his two efforts this year so far. Well handicapped and has run well here in the past. Likely to bounce back before too long, so hopefully today is that day.

This veteran ran respectably in a higher grade and a slightly longer trip on his comeback run here at Perth last month. Down to what should be a competitive handicap mark, this course- and distance winner should go well. Won second time out last year over course and distance. Regular jockey on board and worth chancing each-way at decent odds.
