  It could be that Dashing Dick is on the decline now at the age of eight years old, but his early pace from this reduced mark could see a revival. There's an in-form claimer taking further weight off. He has form on good ground, and this trip shouldn't be an issue either. Plenty of place form, but we do need to forgive the uncharacteristic start to the turf campaign.

  Speechman showed a bit of promise in a couple of runs at this trip last winter and has now had a loosener after a long break. He was a bit slow out of the traps on the turf at Ripon last time out. Connections now send him back to the scene of his best runs to date from a significantly lower mark, and this looks like an ease in quality of the usual opposition.

  Good form round here for Age of Time with previous connections, so I'll give him a look despite yesterday's disappointment. I'd imagine some money will come in for him if the stable keep him in, and if they don't we'll get the money back anyway.
