I'll look at BOYFRIEND at this price in the hope he doesn't get in trouble and finds a gap in the closing stages. He looks well weighted and consistent enough to be in the frame and runs well fresh too. Fine over previous trips here and isn't drawn out of it, so he looks the most likely longshot to get involved. A bit of luck in running is required here, though.

SPORTING SILVERMINE probably found 14 furlongs too long on reappearance, so I'm prepared to chalk that one off. He should strip fitter for this second run of the campaign from a preferred distance. Pretty consistent last year in Class Two races from higher in the weights, so he should be able to run his race here. Only outside the top four once last season and hopefully back in the shake-up here.
