Won the 2000 Guineas last year and is a proven top-class miler. Was behind Lead Artist, Dancing Gemini, and Rosallion when 4th in the Lockinge over a mile at Newbury last month but looked in need of the run following an absence of 196 days. Should be much fitter today.

A Wootton Bassett colt who has won both his starts over 5 furlongs, one here with the second and third winning next time out. Looks likely to improve further.

Won this race last year under today's jockey, Oisin Murphy. He has had 2 prep runs over further in Australia and will welcome the drop back to the minimum with a fast pace virtually guaranteed. Wears the first time blinkers too.

Kept on strongly when winning the French 2,000 Guineas with the third horse home and stablemate, Camille Pissaro, winning the French Derby next time out to boost the form. Likely more to come from this Wootton Bassett colt and with Aidan O'Brien saddling three in this race, with one of those a likely pacemaker, he should get the strong pace he needs.

A guaranteed stayer winning the Queen Alexandra Stakes over a furlong and a half further here in 2023 and third in the same race last year. Tailed off and last of 15 at Chester last month but will be fitter for 2 runs this year following a 127-day absence, with this race the likely target for each-way appeal.

Twice a course and distance winner in June 2024 and should welcome the drop in trip after leading until close to home over the extended 5 furlongs at Wetherby 15 days ago under today's jockey.

Won the London Gold Handicap over this trip at Newbury in May 2024 before finishing runner-up in the Hampton Court Stakes at this meeting last year, also over this trip. Disappointed at Newbury last time out when 6th of 7 but sent off second favourite and clearly expected to do better. Wore the first-time blinkers in that recent race, which are now discarded.

Kept on well to win over 2 miles at Haydock last month and was headed inside the final half a furlong when runner-up in the Chester Cup over 2 miles and 2 and a half furlongs in the race prior to that. With proven stamina, he should be staying on at the end and the stiff uphill finish here should suit.

A previous winner over the extended 7 furlongs here but is a winner over a furlong further on tapeta twice, most recently when last seen on the 27th of May. The drop in trip with a fast pace will suit.
