She ran better than the bare result suggests at Leicester last time and now finds herself back below the handicap mark from which she last won. That gives her a genuine handicapping opportunity rather than requiring significant improvement. Hove Ranger is an obvious threat because he remains relatively unexposed, while Uzincso has been running back into form, but both have their own questions to answer. Bergamo Gold already has proven course-and-distance form and, at 9.00, the price comfortably compensates for her recent inconsistency. She is a strong each-way play.

He's three pounds lighter in the weights now and has every chance of getting involved if matching that run. A much better prospect on the polytrack than the turf so there are each-way claims.
