Two solid runs from the 4yo filly after returning to turf last month. She won a 16-runner handicap over this 6f trip two weeks ago despite a poor start and being at the rear. The second and third were both decent yardsticks. She does tend to start her races quickly. She's just 3 lb higher now and has a good draw. She was rated a bit higher last summer.

A couple of narrow defeats this year, and the 9??'yo is still running to a decent level. His fitness should be spot on. He's a previous 5f C/D winner, and the return to quicker ground is a positive. He ran plenty of nice races in the first half of last year while racing off marks ranging from 80??'85. He is now running off a handy-looking 73 mark.

The 4-year-old filly was a very close runner-up on her return four weeks ago in a similar Listed contest on slow ground. She has the second-highest rating in this race and a good jockey booking. The benefit of that return run and a return to quicker ground are both positives for the selection.
