Hannah Waddingham remains favourite to be one of the celebrities on this year's Strictly
Actress and singer Hannah Waddingham remains the odds-on favourite to appear on Strictly this year after reports said that she has been "approached by BBC bosses".
One source told The Mirror that Hannah is a friend of Strictly judge Anton Du Beke and his wife Hannah and Waddingham is currently seeing if she can fit it into her schedule.
After co-presenting last year's Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool and performing at the BAFTAs this year, as well as a starring role in Ted Lasso, Waddingham's popularity has gone through the roof in recent years.

Ellie Leach won last year's series of Strictly Come Dancing
Former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach was crowned winner of the 2023 series of Strictly Come Dancing after one of the most competitive finals in the show's history.
Leach was a long-time favourite as the show went on with bookies shortening her odds week-by-week and that eventually was proved to be right when she lifted the glitterball trophy.
The actress was partnered alongside Vito Coppola and won the final ahead of Bobby Brazier and Layton Williams, with Leach expected to return in the opening show this year for a performance.
