Betting is still available over who will be the next James Bond with Happy Valley star James Norton now moving into 9/4 favourite for the role with UK Betting Sites.

Norton starred in the BBC Drama Happy Valley which wrapped up back in February this year and it's unclear what his next big role will be with his odds shortening for Bond.
The betting market for the next Bond has chopped and changed on a monthly basis in the past 6 months and it has done so once again with Norton now the outright favourite.
Variety interviewed Norton back in June and asked him about playing James Bond, with the British actor saying that there have been no discussions with Bond producers about the role.
"It’s a really lovely piece of clickbait media in the U.K., and anyone can write any story about it and it will get the most incredible sort of hype around it," Norton said.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Henry Cavill have both previously been betting favourites to play James Bond at some point but they have since both drifted in the market.
Taylor-Johnson was reported to have had screen tests for the role by the Sun back in November last year but there has been no follow up to those reports.
Henry Cavill has played Superman in the past and left that role with no indication over what he will do in the future but a big role like Bond could be next up.

The way we watch movies is changing constantly and there were odds offered back in February on the Bond franchise going streaming only at some point.
The betting odds gave a 22% chance that James Bond will be streaming only going forward with the movies having a spell on Amazon Prime Video earlier this year potentially hinting at that.
At odds of 7/2, Betway said at the start of 2023 that there was a good chance that the franchise goes to streaming only but it'll likely need Box Office figures to keep making the films.
