Lee Anderson is 11/4 to win the Ashfield seat for Reform UK at next month's election
Lee Anderson will once again be running in Ashfield at the upcoming General Election in the constituency that he has held for the past five years, with UK Betting Sites putting him as second favourite to retain his seat.
Since he was voted in for the Conservatives back in 2019, Anderson had since had his parliamentary whip suspended for refusing to apologise for comments made in a GB News discussion.
Those comments saw Anderson allege that "Islamists" now controlled London, Sadiq Khan and Keir Starmer in a response to an article by Suella Braverman.
After that suspension, Anderson then defected to Reform UK becoming the parties first MP back in March and he confirmed he will run in Ashfield for the party at the next election.
William Hill's latest betting odds put Anderson as the second favourite in the market with Labour odds-on to be voted in at 1/2 ahead of Anderson's odds of 11/4.

Labour are the odds-on favourites to win in Ashfield with Rhea Keehn running
Labour candidate for Ashfield Rhea Keehn was joined by former Labour leader Ed Miliband on the campaign trail this week as she looks to win back the constituency for the party.
Ashfield was a part of the Red Wall up until 2019 when Anderson won for the Conservatives for the first time since 1979.
Keehn told residents of Ashfield that she will be looking to give the constituency a 'fresh start' with Chad reporting about her visit to Sutton this week.

Reform leader Nigel Farage visited Anderson on the campaign trail earlier this week
The new Reform leader Nigel Farage headed to Kirkby-in-Ashfield earlier this week to help Lee Anderson on the campaign trail.
On that same day, Farage had rocks and cement thrown at him in Barnsley with that being the second time since taking over that he had things thrown at him following the banana milkshake affair in Clacton.
Farage himself will be running in Clacton with the latest betting odds putting him as the heavily odds-on favourite to win the seat.
