Scheduled to take place in January of each year at the Warwick Racecourse is the Leamington Novices Hurdle, a race that is open to novices over hurdles who are aged five or older. The race is run over a distance of two miles and five furlongs in which eleven hurdles will have to be navigated.

Prior to the 2023-24 national hunt racing season, the BHA announced that the race would be dropped from the racing calendar meaning at present, the race is no longer active.
