The Glasgow Stakes was originally held at York and run over one mile and two furlongs (88yds) and served as a Derby trial but was moved to Hamilton in 2006 and is now run over one mile and three furlongs (15yds). The Listed race is open to three-year-old runners only who have previously not won either a Group 1 or Group 2.
