2025 Carlisle Bell Preview

Scheduled to take place in June of each year at the Carlisle Racecourse is the Carlisle Bell, a race that was first run way back in 1599 during the reign of Elizabeth I. The winners are rewarded with bells, these are arguably the oldest horse racing prizes in Britain!

The race is open to runners who are aged three or older and is run over a distance of seven furlongs, one hundred and seventy-three yards.
