Morocco lead the way in the betting market to host the 2030 World Cup Final

The 2030 World Cup will be hosted by Morocco, Spain and Portugal and bookies are now offering odds on which of those countries will host the final of the tournament.

Morocco are the current leaders in the betting market at 3/1 with the country currently planning on building a brand new 115,000 capacity stadium in the country.

The Grand Stade de Casablanca will serve as the home of the Morocco National side and it was originally planned for the 2010 World Cup which was won by South Africa.

Fast forward 14 years on from that tournament and it looks like the plans will finally go ahead with a construction cost currently set at $490m.

Smarkets say there's a 25% chance that Morocco host the final of the 2030 World Cup with their new stadium set to give them the upper-hand in the race.

Spain and Portugal will also be hosting the World Cup in 2030

Spain and Portugal are the other two countries that will be co-hosting the World Cup in 2030 with FIFA choosing those three as the winning bid.

Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay will kick off the 2030 World Cup to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the tournament with three commemorative match hosts opening the World Cup.

Huge backlash was given due to the large distance between South America and Europe with FIFA's carbon neutral plans disregarded by those host plans.

Bookies offer odds on who will win the next World Cup in 2026

Brazil and France are the joint favourites to win the 2026 World Cup with bookies putting them both at 11/2 in the betting odds.

The 2026 World Cup will be held in three North American countries becoming the first World Cup to do so with Canada, Mexico and the USA all hosting games.

This upcoming World Cup also sees 48 teams enter for the first time, up from the 32 that usually enter, with a new Round of 32 being created.
