Donald Trump now just 1/5 to win this year's TIME Person of the Year

New US President Donald Trump is now as short as 1/5 with Betting Sites to be named TIME Person of the Year at the 10-person shortlist was announced on Monday.

Trump is followed in the market by Yulia Navalnaya who has been at the forefront of the news in the past year following the death of her husband Alexei Navalny.

2024 has been a massive year for Trump after one of the biggest political comebacks there has been when he won the US Presidential Election in November.

Trump was named Time's Person Of The Year in 2016 and 8 years on it looks like there will be a repeat winner with the betting odds giving an 83.3% implied probability it happens again.

Unibet's latest market suggests no real contender for Trump for the award as he becomes the first ever convicted felon to be elected as US President.
