Paul Merson now odds-on to be eliminated from Strictly with odds offered ahead of Week 4

Fresh from winning last weekend's Strictly Come Dancing dance-off, former footballer Paul Merson is the betting favourite to be eliminated this week.

UK Betting Sites are offering full odds on who will be eliminated from the show this weekend with Merson moving into odds-on favourite to be voted off on Week 4.

Merson has a Quickstep on this weekend's Strictly and his Fred Astaire dance could well signal the end of his journey on the show with Nick Knowles and Pete Wicks following him in the market.

Bet365's latest betting odds give an implied probability of 60% that Merson is eliminated next on Strictly with Knowles just behind with a 40% chance of leaving.

Knowles ongoing injury issues though may mean that he has to pull out of the show after missing Week 3's Movie Week with knee issues.

What the expert says...
Paul Merson is now the favourite to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing after winning against Toyah Willcox in last week's dance-off. That dance-off appearance has unsurprisingly seen his odds shorten into 4/6 to leave the show this week!

Chris McCausland remains favourite to win the show this year

Comedian Chris McCausland has been backed into favourite to win Strictly in the past fortnight and he remains in that position with bookies keeping him as odds-on to win.

McCausland started the market as a 16/1 outsider to win the show and has been quickly backed into favourite after impressing fans of the show with his opening dances.

The Scouse comedian is the first ever blind contestant on Strictly and he and professional partner Dianne Buswell have been on fire as they manoeuvre their way through tough choreography.
