Betting remains open on who will sing the next James Bond theme and UK Betting Sites have now slashed Chappell Roan's odds into favourite to record one of the biggest theme songs in cinema history.
The iconic position of the James Bond theme has been filled by some massive artists over the years with Billie Eilish, Adele and Sam Smith all singing the theme in the Daniel Craig era.
Chappell Roan has now come from absolutely nowhere in the betting market to the clear favourite at 13/8 to sing the Bond theme after a whirlwind 2024 has seen her name on everyone's lips.
Roan's debut album 'The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess' hit the UK Number One spot earlier this month nearly a year after it was originally released with her music going viral throughout 2024.
The American singer and songwriter now has the world at her feet with her upcoming UK tour already looking like the venues are too small for her with a whole host of academy's as part of the dates.
Paddy Power have seen this popularity and put Roan as the favourite in the market to sing the next Bond theme with a 38.1% chance given according to the betting market.

Lana Del Rey was the most recent market mover in the next Bond theme odds list after she revealed that Bond producers had rejected a song that she wrote for Spectre.
Del Rey told the BBC that she wrote a James Bond theme back in 2015, titled 24, but had it rejected by producers before adding it to her album Honeymoon.
When she was asked if she still hoped to have a Bond theme in her career Del Rey said, “One day, maybe" which instantly led to her odds being cut to 5/2 to sing the next theme.
Christopher Nolan remains the betting favourite to direct the next Bond film
Christopher Nolan still sits as betting favourite to be the next Bond director with numerous reports stating that he would be the next person to lead the way in the franchise.
Nolan has flirted with the idea of directing bond previously and reports from World of Reel back in 2023 said that Nolan had agreed to writing and directing the next two films in the famous franchise.
The British director has since denied those reports though telling the Associated Press that he 'sadly' wouldn't be doing it, but Paddy Power have kept him as the market leader.
