Chiwetel Ejiofor comes from 20/1 down to 4/1 to be the next James Bond

Doctor Strange star Chiwetel Ejiofor is the latest big market mover in the Next James Bond market.

At odds of 20/1 just last week, Ejiofor now sees himself at 4/1 in the betting market to be the next Bond.

Those odds make Ejiofor the third favourite to take over as James Bond now, with Regé-Jean Page and Henry Cavill above him.

Next James Bond Odds Probability
Regé-Jean Page
10/3 23.1%
Henry Cavill 7/2 22.2%
Chiwetel Ejiofor
4/1 20.0%
Tom Hardy 9/2 18.2%
Idris Elba 10/1 9.1%

Long standing contenders in the market include Tom Hardy and Idris Elba who will seemingly always be linked with the role.

Idris Elba especially is one of those who has been rumoured to be the next Bond for the last few years now.

Chiwetel Ejiofor is now into third favourite for the James Bond role, coming in from 20/1 now at 4/1 to be the next Bond. The Doctor Strange star has come from nowhere in the market to now being linked to the role.

Regé-Jean Page remains 10/3 favourite to replace Daniel Craig as Bond

Bridgerton actor Regé-Jean Page stays as the 10/3 favourite to take over in the role of James Bond.

Daniel Craig has left the role after a massive send of in his last Bond movie No Time To Die.

Craig had starred as James Bond for 15 years, making him the longest serving Bond of all time.

Poldark star Aiden Turner was the last big movement in the market, but has drifted out to 12/1 since

Aiden Turner was a big market mover back in March, with the Poldark star going into second favourite at the time.

Turner had moved from 20/1 down to 4/1, similar to Chiwetel Ejiofor, as we reported in March on OLBG.com.

The actor, who starred in the Cornwall-based series Poldark, has since drifted out to 12/1 with reports distancing him from the role as Bond.

He now has just a 7.7% chance of being the next James Bond according to the betting odds.

Poldark star Aiden Turner is now out to 12/1 to be the next James Bond, despite being second favourite for the role at one point with bookmakers.
