Aaron Taylor-Johnson is 2/1 favourite to be the next James Bond

Betting for the next James Bond continues this week with Aaron Taylor-Johnson remaining the bookies favourite at 2/1 in one is a tight betting market.

Taylor-Johnson has long been at or around the top of the betting odds and he remains that way this week sitting right at the top of the betting.

Reports from The Sun back in November suggested that the Actor was the frontrunner to get the job but no other rumours have been leaked since then.

Paddy Power though keep Taylor-Johnson at the top of the betting market with his current odds suggesting there's a 33% chance of him becoming Bond.

Henry Cavill remains second favourite in long-time battle at top of market

The next James Bond market has long been a two-horse race at the top of the market with Henry Cavill and Aaron Taylor-Johnson constantly at the top.

Cavill has played Superman in the past and it could be that he plays another massive role in cinema history by playing Bond.

The British actor has been linked with the James Bond role in the past and the stars may well have aligned for him to slot into the 007 role after leaving Superman and The Witcher.

Happy Valley star James Norton shut down Bond rumours earlier this week

Happy Valley actor James Norton was a new star in the betting market to be the next Bond but he told Variety earlier this week that any rumours are nonsense.

Norton said, "No, no, no, none of that. It’s a really lovely piece of clickbait media in the UK and anyone can write any story about it and it will get the most incredible sort of hype around it."

Pretty clear way of stopping any hype around Norton being Bond then, but bookies still have him as 7/2 in the betting market.
