Despicable Me 4 now leads the way in the betting odds to be the Highest Grossing Film Worldwide in 2024 with bookmakers now offering odds on the outcome.
Back in 2017, Despicable Me 3 was released and was a huge success at the Global Box Office with more than $1b earned worldwide.
That didn't give it top spot that year though at the Box Office with Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi, Beauty and the Beast and the Fate of the Furious all earning more than the movie.
This year though the betting odds favour Despicable Me 4 to lead the way at the Box Office with the latest odds now evens to be the biggest movie of the year ahead of Deadpool 3.

Deadpool 3 could well be the film that competes against Despicable Me 4 for the top figures at the Box Office in 2024 with Ryan Reynolds latest release expected to be a big one.
The previous Deadpool movie, Deadpool 2, made $734m at the global Box Office to finish 9th in the overall list for 2018 which will have been some what disappointing.
Now though with Hugh Jackman set to appear as Wolverine in the new film, bookies say there's a 2/1 chance that Deadpool 3 is the highest grossing movie of the year.
