Betting odds continue to be offered on the Highest Grossing Movie of 2025 with Avatar 3: Fire and Ash now shortening into odds-on favourite to top the Global Box Office this year.
The third movie in the Avatar franchise will not be released until the festive period in December but it's expected to still be one of the biggest releases of the year.

Zootopia 2 started this market as the betting favourite to be the Highest Grossing Movie of 2025 but it has since drifted out to second favourite with Avatar's odds slashed.
The Disney movie is still expected to be one of the most successful films this year after the original was a massive success with more than $1b made globally.
Disney will be looking for another successful sequel release after Inside Out 2 made just under $1.7b at the Box Office last year.

Inside Out 2 was a massive success story for 2024 with the animated sequel finishing top of the Global Box Office with a worldwide total of $1,698,778,437.
Deadpool & Wolverine was the long time favourite in the betting market to have a dominant display at the Box Office and top the global figures but ended up finishing more than $350m behind Inside Out 2's numbers.
It's thought that the success of the animated movie is the perfect reason as to why Zootopia 2 will perform well for Disney in the coming 12 months.
