Celebrity Big Brother returns to UK TV after 6 years away from screens
After a six-year hiatus, Celebrity Big Brother makes a comeback to television screens this evening, with the last instalment airing in 2018 on Channel 5.
During that series, actor Ryan Thomas emerged as the victor but the season was marred by controversy between Thomas and Roxanne Pallett.
She had accused Thomas of physical abuse, a claim that was disproven by footage aired to the British public and the incident, dubbed "punchgate" by the media, prompted over 25,000 complaints to Ofcom.
