Rylan Clark-Neal is the 1/4 favourite to host the reboot of Big Brother
Rylan Clark-Neal is the 1/4 favourite to host the reboot of Big Brother, with reports saying that the show will make a return at some point in 2023.
Big Brother's reboot is reportedly ‘drawing closer’ with ITV bosses in ‘advanced talks’ to bring the show back to the airwaves.
It's Rylan who is the bookmakers favourite to be host of the show, seemingly due to his previous ties with Big Brother as he presented spin-off Big Brother's Bit on the Side on Channel 5.
Big Brother Reboot Presenter | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Rylan Clark-Neal | 1/4 | 80.0% |
Alison Hammond | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Kate Lawler | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Emma Willis | 16/1 | 5.9% |
Davina McCall | 20/1 | 4.8% |
Previous Big Brother presenters Emma Willis and Davina McCall are both well out in terms of the betting market at odds of 16/1 and 20/1 respectively.
Willis has stated that she wouldn't be interested in presenting the show saying that a new era should bring a new host in an interview on ITV's This Morning.
Reports suggest that ITV will be the broadcaster for Big Brother, with odds of 1/3 that the show ends up there
As reports are continuously suggesting, it's looking like ITV will be the home of Big Brother's expected reboot.
The network are expected to bring the show 'back to basics' in a move that will completely reboot the show past it's Channel 5 days and more like the Channel 4 show.
It is not currently confirmed that ITV will be the ones to do so but at odds of 1/3 with Betway it's extremely likely it will be the network that brought us Love Island.
Big Brother's TV channel | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
ITV | 1/3 | 75.0% |
Channel 5 | 9/2 | 18.2% |
Netflix | 6/1 | 14.3% |
Channel 4 | 20/1 | 4.8% |
Amazon Prime | 25/1 | 3.8% |
The additions of both Netflix and Amazon Prime to the betting market are both extremely interesting with streaming platforms getting more and more popular.
In a show like Big Brother which used to have 24 hour live feeds, having it on these streaming platforms would make it much easier to get more content on there.
Love Island currently one of the biggest Reality TV shows in the UK
ITV will be looking to strengthen their pack of Reality TV shows by having Big Brother on their channel with Love Island currently going from strength to strength.
The hit dating show is currently 4 weeks into it's 8th season, with Paige Thorne and Jacques O'Neill the favourites to win the show currently.
Similar to Love Island, Big Brother was well known for its betting markets with prop bets and other specials usually available for the show.
