Was going in the right direction, which led to getting rewarded by an impressive win LTO in handicap debut at Nottingham last month. So, raised mark and going up in class means he will need a better performance this time out.

Take Niminy Piminy here, due to the rapid finish and time (overall) of the last race that really solidified this horse's ability and the fact that this horse has really come on over the winter. Great chance here.

An extremely open race here, but going with Bulletin, who is a 3-year-old trained by Portman. A lot of his races show very good promise, especially when he got a 3rd in a 7f at Southwell. So, taking a small chance here for the win.

Showed promise last year as a juvenile in the frame in 2 of his 4 starts. Won nicely on season return over an extended mile at Musselburgh last month. Likely to improve again and has a chance here.

Improved in each of his runs and a respectable run from this mark last time. Needs to improve again to win this and shouldn't be far away.

Has tendency to be slowly away as they did on 3yo return, when B/F for a class 4 handicap over a mile @ Haydock. However, was a winning 2yo on Aw @ Southwell, this straight mile should suit, good jockey retains ride and very good upcoming trainer could not be in any better form last 14 days, currently running @ 56 percent with a Lsp of 87.50, making current 8.50 solid Ew value in the race.

The yard have found some form lately so there are grounds for optimism for this one. The step up in trip could improve him.

Blue Point gelding who likely needed the run when 8th/9 on the back of a 264-day break last month at Newmarket 7f. However, the selection had finished runner-up twice in his four maiden/novice starts last year. He drops a further 3lb, and he is sporting a first-time hood, each/way chance.
