Hereford Racecourse Map
Right handed, mile and half course square shaped. The fences are strategically placed for awkwardness and you need a well-balanced horse that is adaptable, it does seem you are always on the turn at Hereford. A shortish run in after the last means you should not let runners get away from you, the downhill run in also means horses can accelerate away.

Tips From The Racecourse for Hereford
Visit the OLBG tips pages to view the tips and comments by the top horse racing tipsters.
At Hereford, partly because of its location and its many midweek race days, you tend to get 1 or 2 stand-out horses at a meeting, with the other runners not good enough to compete.
This should make finding the winner easier, with those towards the head of the market strongly favoured. Look to Welsh and Midlands trainers for winners.
Venetia Williams is based close to the course and Henry Oliver from Worcester and David Rees all have decent records here.
