Not the best betting site for horse racing, they don't offer 'Best Odds Guaranteed' which is a pretty normal thing on betting sites these days. They are very rarely best priced on football selections, more value to be had on various other sites. They have also stopped their loyalty scheme where you could save upto £20 off your sky bill every month. They do however, have a very good slots section, one of the best I have come across. Summary: Avoid for majority of sports betting, better prices and promises elsewhere but brilliant if you are into online slots.
Skybet changed their loyalty scheme this year, it's been well covered in the forums but it simply doesn't offer the value of last year's scheme. They have their own Price Boosts on the racing from time to time but I find it makes little difference. They make a decent stab at in-play service. Occasionally they throw in a casino bonus but for me they are a bookmaker who are always thinking of the next gimmick to try and gain custom. In the football betting when you select a competition for betting the screen tends to come up with all the in-play options first, you have to scroll down to get to the matches. Can be a bit irritating to say the least. But overall a solid all-rounder.
do alot of betting on here, both teams to score coupen easy to us,good odds to,never had problems with reverse forcasts on dogs like other people have said
Sky are one of the bookmakers I use most, especially for football. They offer competitive prices and as jaydubs said the menus are very easy to navigate and to find the league/match you want. I think they deserve five stars.
Skybet offers the best prices and are usually a point or two ahead of their competitors h'cps on the Rugby Union matches. However I would like to see a few more markets available on a game instead of just the straight win and h'cp. The lack of markets is also true on a lot of football matches outside of the main divisions across Europe , where it is difficult to find anything apart from the straight 1x2. All this said though I do like the set up and ease of finding the match I want on their football pages and they do offer very competative prices.
My main online bookie , Sky Bet have most if not all of the information i need to make an informed bet , in a clear format . I do hope they don't mind me using this info to fleece them sometime soon !
Easy to use great loyalty rewards fantastic live betting all round great
Just as good as Bet Victor. I use these two bookmakers more than any other. Sky Bet give me a reward of the price of my Sky bill and many other offers
Sky Bet have changed their loyalty scheme from the straight forward place a £5 bet get a £5 free bet. They've also scrapped there monthly loyalty scheme. They have replaced it with place a £5 accumulator and get a £5 free bet. I took the trouble to read the instructions, which were all over the place and never actually answered what actually qualified. I selected four matches and placed an accumulator and lucky15 that can to over £5.00 total submitted in a single transaction - as in one betting slip. I wasn't sure if that was okay so I checked with the online chat and was told it was fine. I put on my feedback that the information on the loyalty bet was not clear. Checked earlier in the week and thetre was no free bet in my account. Checked my account again tonight - still no free bet. Enquired on live chat what was going on. Some guy called Matthew B told me my bet did not qualify as the lucky 15 only came to £4.05 and the accumulator on the same four clubs didn't count towards it. I referred him to the previous chat. It didn't matter. I referred him to the original chat feedback - where I raised concerns about the poor information supporting the loyalty bet. It didn't matter to Matthew. I asked for a call back from a manager. Matt called me to tell me that he was the duty manager. Complete waste of my time. I'll let this weeks bet run their course and then close the account. I don't think Sky Bet actually understand the point of a loyalty bet is to try and retain customers. Mainly use SKY BET for my football and golf bets. Won't be using them again. Do Sky not realise they are in a competitive marketplace unlike their TV monopoly.
I was taking advantage of their Free bet offer of 5 x £10 £5 Free bet. I wagered £10 per day. I then had an email saying that my 'account liability had to be reduced' and was kicked off the promotion. I am not allowed to wager over set amounts any more as it has been limited. So if you are too successful they don't like it.
