  • Tilly Ramsay just favourite for elimination with bookies at 6/4 odds
  • Dan Walker has escaped the bottom 2 on a few occasions - not this week perhaps
  • 80% chance they are the pair dancing off for survival according to bookies
  • Betting sites have Tom Fletcher just 5/1 to be the next to go

There is just seven contestants left on the current series and betting on Strictly Come Dancing has become a weekly past-time for many, predicting who will be next to be voted off the show having danced their last dance.

Things are hotting up, but they are also getting tight at the bottom. This week's next elimination betting odds have appeared and it is not looking like good news for either Tilly Ramsay or Dan Walker.

Bookmakers suggest 80% probability that we will see Dan Walker and Tilly Ramsay dance-off for survival this week. Tilly Ramsay just the 11/8 favourite to be the next to leave.

Betting sites consider it an 80% chance that they will be filling the dreaded dance-off spots and that one of the pair will be leaving.

Strictly Next Elimination Betting Odds

Contestant Odds Probability
Tilly Ramsay 2.37 (11/8) 42.19%
Dan Walker 2.50 (6/4) 40.0%
Tom Fletcher 5/1 16.67%
Rhys Stephenson 7/1 12.50%
AJ Odudu 16/1 5.88%
John Whaite 25/1 3.85%
Rose Ayling-Ellis 30/1 3.23%

It could be suggested that Dan Walker's significant social following and fan base has been instrumental in some of the public voting to date, but right now, there are no two contestant with more social following fans than Tilly Ramsay and a distant third favourite for the chop, Tom Fletcher.

Dan Walker has been criticised as being 'wooden' for weeks, but what will the judges think in show 9?

Tilly Ramsay has survived a dance-off previously, but if Tom Fletcher were to finish in the bottom two and dance for survival it would a first for the McFly star

It is interesting to see how the celebrity's Instagram followings have grown over the course of the show too. Rhys Stephenson has doubled his although he still has fewer than any other remaining celebrity in the show,
