British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson remains the odds-on favourite at 1/2 to replace Daniel Craig as the next 007 after various reports said the role was sealed earlier this year.
Fast forward months later though and the role is still unconfirmed which raises question marks around whether it will be Taylor-Johnson who plays Bond next or another man in the market.
Henry Cavill previously auditioned for the role of Bond back in 2005 for Casino Royale but ultimately lost to Daniel Craig and 20 years on could finally take on the job.
Cavill is the second favourite in the market at 2/1 to play Bond next but it seemed like at the time of his audition it was producer Barbara Broccoli who chose Craig instead which could be a stumbling block again.

Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey has been a big mother in the market to play Bond with the series hot on everyone's lips again following the latest season's release.
Bailey has starred as Viscount Anthony Bridgerton in the show but only featured in three of the eight episodes in Season Three with his role taking a step back.

American singer Chappell Roan has come from nowhere into favourite to perform the next James Bond theme with bookies changing that market right around.
Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa had long been joint favourites in the market to play one of the biggest theme songs in movie history but that has swapped around with Roan now 13/8.
Lana Del Rey is just behind Roan as 5/2 second favourite following her admission of previously putting a song forward for Bond in the past but she was ultimately turned down.
