Robert Jenrick emerges as the frontrunner to be the next Conservative Leader
Robert Jenrick officially announced his campaign to be the next Conservative Party leader earlier this week in Newark and instantly was made the favourite with UK Betting Sites to replace Rishi Sunak as leader.
‘How is it that we have just suffered our worst ever electoral defeat?’, a great question for Jenrick to ask during his campaign launch and one that voters of the party will have been asking ever since the election wrapped up.
Jenrick can answer that in the coming weeks during his campaign to become the leader of the Conservatives and numerous broken promises has left the confidence in the party at an all-time low.
Bet365's latest odds put Jenrick at 13/10 to become next Conservative Leader with around a 10% difference in implied probability given between him and second place Kemi Badenoch.
Badenoch had long been favourite to replace Sunak long before the General Election was even announced but now we've got the time where a replacement is needed she has slipped into second place in the betting odds.
