The latest film in the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast X, is now 5/2 with UK betting sites to be the highest grossing film of 2023 ahead of it's May release date.
The Fast franchise is one of the longest running and most successful movie franchises of all-time and its latest release Fast X will likely continue that run.
Figures wise the highest grossing Fast movie is Furious 7 which had a worldwide gross of $353m back in 2015.
Betfair now say there's a 28% chance that Fast X is the highest grossing movie of the year with a big Box Office performance expected for the film.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 remains the favourite to top the charts at the Box Office worldwide this year with a 44% chance according to the latest betting odds.
The latest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to release in May and the odds suggest that it will be the third film in the Guardians franchise that has a good Box Office performance.
Interestingly though the second movie in the Guardians franchise only came 8th in the 2017 Worldwide Box Office charts so it's understandable to be weary this time around.
