Rylan back into 1/4 favourite to host the reboot of Big Brother after drifting out previously in the market
The reboot of Big Brother UK continues to be in the news and we're yet to know who will be the presenter for the show ahead of next year's airing but bookies have shortened Rylan to host again.
Rylan was the favourite to host the show way back in August but in the months since we've seen him drift right out in the betting to not even featuring in the market.
Betway though make the former Big Brother's Bit on the Side host the outright favourite to present the reboot with various Big Brother links noticeable in the market.
Big Brother Reboot Presenter | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Rylan Clark-Neal | 1/4 | 80.0% |
Vick Hope | 3/1 | 25.0% |
Emily Atack | 4/1 | 20.0% |
Alison Hammond
|
10/1 | 9.1% |
Kate Lawler
|
10/1 | 9.1% |
Alison Hammond appeared as a contestant on Big Brother back in 2002 and she is 10/1 to host in the betting alongside that series winner Kate Lawler.
Hammond's presenting experience on ITV where she is one of several This Morning presenters may well help her chances.
Radio 1 DJ Vick Hope was 2/1 favourite in the betting
Radio 1 DJ Vick Hope was the bookies favourite to host the ITV reboot of Big Brother back in October but the market has since changed with her odds drifting.
Various reports in recent weeks have suggested that both Hope and Emily Atack are the front runners to present the show but nothing has shown that in terms of the betting odds.
Newcastle-born Hope has recently appeared in Dictionary Corner on Channel 4 show Countdown.

Big Brother set to return in 2023 but air date pushed back to Autumn
Big Brother's return was set for Spring of 2023 but that has since changed with the launch of the reboot pushed back to Autumn 2023.
Due to the number of shows airing on ITV at the start of the year, including Love Island and I'm A Celeb All Stars, the show will not air until August at the earliest.
Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning & Acquisitions and Controller at ITV said around the launch of the show earlier this year:
“This refreshed, contemporary new series of Big Brother will contain all the familiar format points that kept viewers engaged and entertained the first time round, but with a brand new look and some additional twists that speak to today’s audience."
Big Brother's return will be massive for UK reality show fans, with the series being off the air for nearly 4 years.
