Thursday night is the final of the Apprentice when either Kathryn Louise Burn or Harpreet Kaur will go into a business partnership with Lord Alan Sugar as they are crowned winner of The Apprentice 2022

Not only will Lord Sugar be considering the business acumen of the two girls in the final but also the viability and scalability of the business ideas they have brought to the table. Looking at recent winners, we don't really gain great insight for making a prediction for the final which airs on Thursday night [24th] on BBC.

The last winner of The Apprentice in 2019 was Carina Lepore who had a business plan for an Artisan Bakery, whilst before that in 2018, Sian Gabbidon was into Swimwear.

The 2 finalists this year are not far removed from those ideas with Harpreet having an established Cafe business and Kathryn in the textiles trade with a range of Pyjamas for the whole family [Including the dog!]

*Betting on the Apprentice is not available as it is a pre-recorded show and the results can be already known. We have created betting odds based on an independent poll of apprentice fans as to who they think will win the show.

Both finalists, Kathryn and Harpreet have established businesses, and whilst Kathryn has been favourite as dropped in the betting odds in recent weeks from being on losing teams, she has returned to favourite to win, given the greater scaling opportunity of her business model

In the first 6 series, the winner was offered a position at one of Alan Sugar's companies, then the format changed into an investment for the winning contestants business plan.
