Carmarthen East and Dinefwr is a UK Parliament constituency represented by Jonathan Edwards of Plaid Cymru since 2010.
Created in 1997, it elects one MP via the first past the post system. A Senedd constituency with the same boundaries was formed in 1999. The constituency is due to be abolished as part of the 2023 Periodic Review, with its wards splitting between Caerfyrddin (Carmarthen) and Llanelli.
